CFJ is thrilled to be an official partner for Fuel the Vote. Spearheaded by Fuel the People, Fuel the Vote is a campaign dedicated to combating hunger as a form of voter suppression. The goal is ensure nobody has to choose between standing in line for hours or exercising his/her/their civic right to vote.
Fuel The People works to provide nourishment to protestors on the front lines, support local Black- and POC-owned businesses, and donate to local organizations who work tirelessly to support Black liberation.
Fuel the Vote was made possible by your donations and work from the following organizations:
Creating for Justice | Fuel the People | Columbia Nourish | Bartenders Against Racism | The Migrant Kitchen NYC | Howard University’s NAACP
Together, we raised a total of $9,213.47 and provided 7,375 meals to voters in Washington, D.C., and New York City!
